Dear Light user,

For many of you this is the start of a new school term. For me my last child is starting school for the first time and my oldest is moving to secondary school – this is a time of transition for us and everyone is feeling a bit unsure of themselves.

The Light material for September reminds us of the roots of our faith – that Jesus came, lived, died and rose again so that we can live the best way. As you work with Light this month we are exploring the story of Easter in greater depth than we can at Easter time.

For Light Years (our material for all age worship), some of you will have already been contacted to join in research into Light Years. Over the next year your input will help to reshape Light Years.

October begins with some amazing things Jesus said and did. There’s a great session on October 29th that focuses on positive images of light rather than the negative image of darkness portrayed by Halloween.
